Building on the basis of the original image of Windows XP Professional SP2 x64. The latest updates for December 2016. Also attached file with the keys for the installation and for the Russification of the system files, Windows Media and Internet Player a the explorer. * Update for Windows XP x64 on December 2016;
* Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 x64 with updates;
* Windows Media Player 11.0.5721.5280 with updates.
Read more about the installation process:
* Open a text document from the archives of "Windows XP Professional SP2 (x64) keys" and write one of the serial numbers;
* When installing, enter the serial number;
* Next, the standard setting, no different from the original;

Upgrading Windows XP:
* To open the Updates with Windows XP, you must first update the Windows Update:
- 1. Make everything as written in the instructions in windowsupdateagent30-x64.txt text file (in the root of the image in the EXTRAS / Windows Update Agent location);
- 2. Start Internet Explorer 8, click Settings, and then close it;
- 3. Launch Windows Update;
- 4. Accept all invitations, including security and ActiveX warning;
* You will be prompted to install two high priority updates, and 6 optional software updates.
* High-priority updates are required (61 MB total size of the file), so just install them:

Recommended tweaks:
* Delete unnecessary components of Windows: MSN Explorer, Outlook Express, Windows Messenger
* Copy of Autoruns EXTRAS folder on your computer, run it and remove all entries related to Outlook Express and Windows Messenger.
Installation of Russian language:
* Open the archive and run mui_winxp_pro_x64_russian.rar MUISETUP file;
* For the Russification of Windows Media Player, open the archive and run the batch file MUIrusWMP11.zip setup x64.exe;
* For the Russification of Internet Explorer, from the archive and run the batch file MUIrusIE setup x64.exe.
