Requirements
No experience is needed. The class is for beginners. Students need a pencil, a ruler, white paper, and a darker pencil or ruler.
Description
This class is for beginners.* Students will learn basic perspective drawing skills.* Students will learn about the horizon line and vanishing point.* Students will learn how to create boxes in 1* and 2 point perspective.* Some boxes will be over the horizon line.* Some boxes will be under the horizon line.* Some boxes will be on top of the horizon line.* Students will draw objects in some of the boxes.* Students will learn how to create 3 point perspective buildings looking up.* The buildings will be over the horizon line.* Students will learn how to create 3 point perspective buildings looking down.* These buildings will be under the horizon line, so you can see the top.* Students will learn how to use the fencepost method to create the distance between things that are equally spaced in perspective.* *Students will learn to create a grid in 1 point perspective and 2 point perspective.* These grids can be used to create floors, windows or bricks on buildings.* Students will then create a finished drawing in one point perspective.* Students will create a finished drawing in 2 point perspective with atmospheric perspective.* * Students will need multiple pieces of white paper, drawing pencils, a ruler, and a darker pencil (black colored pencil), or marker.
