Silmo brick is a firebrick made of super high grade alumina clinker and andalusite, carborundum and super grade homogeneous alumina as the main raw materials.



The silica motile roots vary in size and can be divided into standard, square and heteromorphic types.The size of standard type silica motile brick is 230*114*65mm. The special-shaped brick can be processed according to the user's requirements.

Application


Simo brick is mainly used in transition zone, cooling zone and kiln mouth of cement kiln.

The service life of the secondary firing zone and transition zone in the cement rotary kiln is better than that of spinel brick, mainly because the spinel brick formed the erosion zone due to the alkali erosion during the use, which caused the crack and spalling on the hot surface and accelerated the damage.The structure of the brick is compact, the mullite and SiC crystals are stable, and the brick surface forms a continuous SiO2 dense layer, which prevents the erosion of gas and melt.



With high thermal conductivity and small thermal expansion coefficient of SiC, the product has good thermal and seismic stability.These properties make the brick not easy to break and spalling, and because the thermal conductivity is lower than that of magnesium material, the tube will not be heated too high, which not only ensures the normal operation of the rotary kiln tube, but also saves fuel.
