Introduction:
Hydraulic rock splitter include one wedge and two splitting piece.
The assembly is inserted into a pre-drilled hole with the wedge in a retracted position. When the control lever is turned to "(F)" forward position, the wedge advances and the two splitting pieces are forced sidewards against the wall of the hole and with hundreds of tons of pressure tears rock or concrete apart. With the control lever on top of the cylinder, the wedges can be advanced, retracted or held in any position. A break usually occurs within ten seconds but with extremely hard material, it could be up to 60 seconds.
one set of hydraulic rock splitter can contain one rock splitter, one power unit, two pieces of high pressure hose. of course,one power unit can maximum drive six splitters. there are three kinds of power unit, Gas, diesel and electric.how to select a power unit, that depends on job condition.
