BALARAD, s.r.o has presented Embird 2017 Build 10.24, is digitizing Software for digitizing of logos and other embroidery designs.

Embird 2017 New Features:

EDITOR
- New option "Options > Add Aligning Stitches Automatically" added, allowing to automatically add aligning stitches after splitting of object.
- New command "Insert > Aligning Stitches on Chosen Point" added, allowing to click any point on Work Area to prescribe aligning point for selected objects.
- New command "Insert > Small Cross" added, allowing to insert small cross on Work Area, which might be used for aligning, etc.Support for Janome Cutwork Needles 1-4 and Viking Cutwork Needles 1-4 added to color popup menu in Editor.
THREAD CATALOGS
- New thread catalogs added: Gunold Poly, Gunold Silk, Gunold Sulky, Gunold Filaine, Gunold COTTY, Gunold COTTY-Zusatz.





About Embird. Embird is a design software program from BALARAD s.r.o. that is primarily used to view and edit embroidery design patterns. The Basic Embird software features two modules, the Embird Manager and Embird Editor.

The Embird Manager module has several functions. It is used to convert embroidery designs into other embroidery formats to allow the user to have a design that is compatible with their embroidery machine. Designs can be compressed in ZIP or RAR archives, or displayed in different scales; and it also provides a 3D preview of the design patterns. Apart from these, the program is also able to recognize and open image files saved in the following formats: JPEG, TIF, GIF and BMP. Also provided are thread catalogs that provide the user with options for choosing thread colors based on the design.

The Embird Editor on the other hand, allows the user to add colors and trims. These can also be deleted as determined by the user. Individual stitches can be edited, and also some sections of the design. Plug-ins for additional features are available through Embird Studio.

While basic Embird program works mostly with stitch files, Studio uses vector objects for easier creation of design. The main concept of digitizing in Studio is to draw vector outlines of respective objects and fill them with various types of stitches in a similar way as you fill object with color in a graphic program.
